.Little Things Bring Smiles Part 6.

The name of my blog is

Little Things Bring Smiles.

I chose this title because it is so important to remember the little things in life and to rejoice in them. My reason for blogging is to share my life, all parts of it {including the good, the bad, and the ugly} along with some of the little crafts I make. Each month I want to focus on a few little things that brought smiles to me and my family. I would love for you to share your little things and see if they bring a smile to me, or another reader :)

 Here are a few of my little things from April:

- Long walks in the beautiful Spring weather
- Visits from friends and family
- Weekend getaways
- Date nights with the hubs
- Flowers blooming
- New laundry detergent {lavender scent}
- A freshly scrubbed shower and tub, thanks Adam!
- Trips to the new house
- Planning my garden for the new house
- Holding my sweet niece
- Clean sheets
- Braiding Grace and Joy's hair
- Naps with pup
- Fresh strawberries served cut up in a bowl of milk with one Splenda sprinkled
  over it {My Grandpa always did this for me as a kid and it stuck, simply
  delicious!}
- Organizing and cleaning our duplex
- Awesome rentals from Redbox
- Quality time with my in-laws
- Desserts {I'm afraid I have a sweet mouth instead of just a sweet tooth}
- Finishing Adam's project
- Trips to the chiropractor

Now it's your turn. Always remember,
Little Things Bring Smiles!

  1. That's a good list of little things! And a good reminder to not wait for BIG things to happen to feel happy about life :-) And I'm with you . . . I have a sweet mouth, too ;-)

  3. how exciting about the new house! i love the awesome rentals from redbox-truly a little thing, but one that makes me very happy. i just watched rabbit hole (with nicole kidman, sad topic but fantastic acting all around) last night. i loved loving it-sometimes i get so "meh."

  4. I have always believed that it's the little things that happen in life that make the biggest difference. I try to document every little thing I can with my kids, so I don't forget them. Great list, by the way. How exciting about the new house! Such a beautiful way of looking at things.

  6. Aw, I love your posts about the little things that make you smile! Especially when it involves holding your sweet little niece. ;)

    There are a lot of things that made me smile this week, but the one that makes me most happy is Max's newfound energy and love for eating! The poor guy has been dealing with chronic ear problems until we went to the vet last week and discovered it's a food allergy! Long story short, he's on a new diet and loving his life again. :) Yay for doggies! They bring us such joy!
