Adam and I have big plans for our kitchen. In fact, they are too big for our budget to "handle" at the moment so we opted for an affordable update.
Let's say goodbye to the old, traditional knobs..
..and hello to the new, modern handles!
Materials we used:
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Electric Drill
- New hardware (we purchased handles and screws in a kit from Ikea)
- Tape measure or ruler
- Painter's tape
Hint: Before drilling, use blue painter's tape to tape the backside of the cabinet door where you will soon be
drilling. This will prevent your cabinet from splitting.
Hint: It is important to remember to allow your drill to do
the work; there is no need for you to add extra force by
pushing inward on your drill. Let it do the work itself.
Enjoy your handy work!
What a shiny, contemporary, and affordable update!
